It’s been over a year, but at long last, we’re finally back with a new episode! Parts 1 and 2 of Episode 10, entitled “Catch Her If You Can,” are up for your reading enjoyment!

We want to apologize for taking SO long to get this done for you. It took a lot longer to write than we wanted it to, but I will say that we put a LOT of time and effort into planning and writing this episode. It’s our longest and most complex yet, as it has our heroes chasing a thief around the world in search of clues that will help stop a global crime spree and clear the name of someone who’s been wrongly accused.

We have some fun extras in store for you with this episode, but for now, the soundtrack has been updated. Stay tuned for more soon!

We so apologize for the long delay on this story again. Episode 8, “FANthrax,” has turned out to be our longest episode yet and has taken us a long time. We have been working on it as steadily as possible since February, believe it or not, but we’re down one writer, and that delayed us quite a bit over the summer. We are finally to the point where we can start posting the episode, so Parts 1 and 2 of “FANthrax” are up. We hope you enjoy! The soundtrack has also been updated with new music,

We have already started on two more episodes, so we’re seriously hoping that we won’t have such a long delay between FANthrax and the next episode. We’re still having a blast writing the story and are working as quickly as we can. We hope you’re still enjoying reading it – thanks for sticking with us!

The first part of Episode 7, “Here Ye Be Pirates,” is up! We are going to start posting the story a little differently – instead of posting an entire episode at a time, we’re going to post it in parts, one per week. This will allow us to update more regularly (weekly until we run out of parts, by which time we hope the next episode will be done or almost done), and it won’t overwhelm you with a ton to read at once, since our episodes have gotten to be pretty long altogether. So expect Part 2 to be up next Sunday! Episode 6, “It’s a Small World,” is up! We had a lot of fun planning and writing this one, and we hope you’ll enjoy it too! The soundtrack has been updated with the songs featured in this episode, and there’s a couple of bonus soundclips in the actual episode too.

A new extra has been added: Drums’s Diary. You’ve read 00Carter’s diary… now get the darker side of every story from the number two man of FANS, Drums. Nick’s diary has also been updated, as well as Diamond’s Dating Dos and Don’ts, which has many interesting new Q&As!

Finally, a poll has been added below. Now that we’re six episodes in, which episode is your favorite so far? Please vote and let us know what you think!

8.11.08:

Episode 5, entitled “Bunnies in Black,” is now up! It’s our longest episode yet and was probably the most difficult to write. We wanted to do an episode centering around the “Carter Girls,” but our first attempt at it didn’t work out, so we revamped the entire idea and basically rewrote the whole episode. That’s why it took so long. We are happy with the results, though, definitely happier than we were with the first version, so we hope it’s worth the wait for you!

One recent change to the way the episodes are being posted is that each episode is now broken down into separate parts. We realized that because the episodes are so LONG, it’s hard to read a whole episode in one sitting, and even harder to find a good stopping place and have to scroll through all those parts to find your place again. So we’ve broken down each episode into more manageable parts. It should be just as easy to navigate through the episodes and a lot easier to read them a little at a time (or all at once, if you so choose).

The soundtrack page has also been updated to go with this most recent episode.

One last thing: In case you didn’t know, we’re now posting the story on AbsoluteChaos as well as here. Right now we’re staying an episode behind on AC, but that may change as time goes by. Sorry for the delay in updates yet again. We have been working on Episode 5 all summer, but what happened was that we planned out one thing, started writing it, realized it wasn’t working, scrapped the whole thing, and went back to the drawing board to think up a completely different idea. So basically, we had to rewrite Episode 5, and that’s partly why it has taken so long. Unfortunately, the episode is not quite done yet, but it’s getting close. We’re hoping to finish it by August 1; probably it will be a little later than that.

We do have updates for you today, some new Extras we’d like to debut! First, if you came through the index page of the site, you may have noticed the new opening credits. Episode 3, “Remember Me,” is now up! It’s our longest episode yet, but it reveals a lot of important back story, so while it might be complicated, it’s crucial to the plot. We had a lot of fun writing this one, and we hope you enjoy it!

5.09.07:

Episode 3 isn’t finished yet, but there have been quite a few updates and additions to the site.

First, the “Be a Carter Girl” contest has ended, and we are pleased to announce the true identities of Sapphire Siren and Opal Odyssey, contacts of 00Carter and The Rok, respectively. Sapphire Siren’s real name is Aly Mendez. Opal Odyssey’s is Ashavari Desai. As personal information on these two ladies has now been declassified, you can read more about them in the bio section. (Thank you to everyone who submitted characters – it was a hard decision!)

The bio page has been updated with the new allies, as well as a new enemy.

Also, some of the agents are now on MySpace! Check out the links to their profiles in the Extras section (scroll to the bottom and click on the link to Agent MySpaces). If you want to friend any of them, be sure to send a message explaining where you got their link – most of them will only add “insiders” like you.
