Before They Were Stars - Epilogue

Epilogue

Nick's View

Dear Journal;

It's a year later since Brian and Justin passed on. I've been writing in this ever since, as it seems to help me with the loss of my best friend. I just got back from another funeral, Alicia's and her two-month-old baby, Brianna. Her and Brianna were driving home from a doctor's appointment when they had a head on collision with a drunk driver, Alicia and Brianna both killed instantly, while the drunk driver, who wasn't wearing a seat belt, only had neck injuries and some cuts and bruises. Everyone here is down and none of us feel like doing anything, but we are all happy in a way to know that Brian, Alicia and Justin will be together again, with a new edition. Alicia totally changed after Brian and Justin's death and she just wasn't herself, but the last week or so, she seemed really happy and so full of life and energy. Cheryl believes that Alicia knew something was going to happen and she was happy because she knew she was going to be back with Brian and Justin. Anyway, we're all trying to cope with the sudden loss and we're all having a hard time. The guys and I have decided to make an album dedicated to the whole family and are going to start working on it soon. Well, I guess I should sign off for now. Nick

Alicia's View

I woke up in a beautiful sunny field, beautiful flowers growing all around. Brianna was lying on my stomach and I smiled as she slept. I sat up and looked down at myself to see that I was wearing a white dress, my hair was down and there was a ring of roses along my hair, like a headband. Brianna was wearing a white dress as well as a white bonnet. I picked her up and held her in my arms as I stood up and looked around and saw two figures off in the distance, dressed in white. Suddenly they disappeared into thin air.

"Darling…" I heard a female voice say. I turned around and saw my mom and my dad. "MOM!!!!" I cried and ran to her and hugged her. "Oh sweetie. It's so good to see you again!" She said as she cried and my dad hugged us both. "I've missed you both so much." I said as I cried softly. "We've missed you too, but we've watched over you ever since we woke up here." My dad said and I smiled. "We knew you'd be able to figure out what we were trying to tell you." My mom said and I smiled. "She looks just like you when you were a baby." My mom said, looking down at Brianna and I smiled. Suddenly, they began to fade. "Mom! Dad! Where are you going?" I asked. "There's other people here who need you more than we do." My mom said. "But…you guys don't have to leave." I said. "Yes we do. Everyone who comes up here has at least one or more person that needs them more than anybody. For me, it's your mother." My dad said. "And me your father." My mom said. "Once you find this person or persons who need you the most, you stay with them for all eternity and they're the people you spend the rest of time with and no one else." My dad said. "But you guys are my parents." I said. "Yes sweetie, we can still see each other, but the people who need you are who you stay with. We'll visit you every so often. There are three people here who need you the most, you have one already." My mom said, looking down at Brianna. "I don't know where to look." I said. "You don't have to look, they'll come to you." My dad said. "MOMMY!!!!" I heard a voice yell, just as my parents faded away completely. I put Brianna in a bassinet that was beside me and I looked around until I saw a figure dressed in white running toward me and knew it was Justin. "Justin!!!" I yelled and he ran toward me. I got down on my knees and he ran into my arms. "Oh Justin!!! I missed you so much!!" I cried and Justin hugged me tight, "I missed you two mommy!!" Justin said. "Is this Brianna?" Justin asked and I nodded as he walked over to the bassinet. Suddenly, I felt a warm feeling come over me that I hadn't felt in a long time. I looked up and saw another figure dressed in white. I stood up and the figure became clearer and I never thought I could be so happy. "BRIAN!!!!!" I yelled and began running toward him.

I looked up and saw Alicia running toward me. "ALI!!!" I yelled and began running toward her. "Oh Brian!!!" Alicia cried and jumped on me, wrapping her arms around me and we both fell to the ground, surrounded by a bed of roses. "Oh God Angel." I said as I began kissing her and she began crying as we kissed passionately. I began crying myself as I stroked her back and she played with the curls at the base of my neck. I rolled us over so I was on top and kissed her fiercely, missing the feeling of her against me. I pulled her up as I sat back, lifting her onto my lap as we kissed. We broke apart and we looked at each other, happy tears falling down both of our cheeks. I smiled, so happy to see her and hold her in my arms again.

I looked into Brian's eyes and was so glad to see him again, to feel his strong arms around me. "I've missed you so much." I said as I cried and Brian stroked my cheek gently. "I've missed you too." Brian whispered and I smiled and we kissed again. "Daddy!! Come see Brianna!!" Justin called and Brian smiled as we got up. Brian took my hand in his as we walked over to Justin and Brianna.

Brian gently picked Brianna up and cried softly and gently kissed her forehead. "I love you Brianna." Brian whispered and looked up at me, "She's beautiful." Brian whispered and I smiled and we kissed again. I picked Justin up and held him on my hip and suddenly, Brianna laughed. I looked up and saw birds flying over head. "She must be laughing at the birds." I said and Brian smiled as he looked down at Brianna proudly. "We're a family again…" Brian whispered as he looked down at me and I wrapped my arm around him and whispered, "For all eternity."
