6
Jessica smiled at Nick. She leaned forward and kissed him again. A
guard coming outside interrupted them. Jessica smiled at him and he smiled
back. They got out of the pool.
“Jessica!” They heard Kelly screaming.
“I’m coming!” Jessica replied. She ran up the stairs and
disappeared. Nick turned around and started back to the wall.
“Nick!” Jessica whispered loudly. Nick turned around and smiled at
her,
“When will I see you again?” She asked.
“Tomorrow at nine…go to father Jason’s cell.” He replied. Jessica
nodded and leaned over the railing. Nick ran up and climbed the lattice again.
She dropped the small diamond cross into his hand and she leaned further down
and kissed him. Nick dropped to the ground and ran to the wall and disappeared.
“As Juliet said ‘Parting is such sweet sorrow that I should saw
goodnight till it be morrow.” She replied walking into her room.
The next day
Nick walked into the church and walked down a
long corridor. He knocked on a door that read ‘Private’. The door opened and an
elderly man appeared.
“Good morning father.” He replied hugging the priest. The priest
smiled.
“Hello my dear friend.” He replied. Nick followed him out into the
main room.
“Can I ask you something?” Nick asked. The priest turned around
and smiled,
“Of course.” He replied. Nick smiled,
“Are the Phillips related to the Timberlake’s?” He asked. The
priest nodded,
“Yes…and I’m sure they have a daughter around your age.” He
replied. Nick smiled and nodded. A door opened and a young woman entered. Nick
turned and smiled when he saw who it was. Jessica smiled at them both.
“Morning father Jason.” She greeted him. The priest nodded and
watched them. Nick embraced Jessica and they kissed.
