Chapter 7
"Come on." Brian grumbled as the
soda machine spit his dollar out again. "In about ten seconds Nick can get
his own soda."
"Having trouble?"
Brian jumped when he heard the man. Sighing he scolded himself for beinging so
parnoid.
"A little." He admitted. "It won't take my dollar."
"But you already have a soda." The man pointed out.
"This is for my friend." Brian was became annoyed, as the machine
again rejected his money.
"Would that be for the one we almost killed?"
The hatred that dripped from the man's voice paraylized Brian. When he finally
managed to turn around, he was shocked to see three masked men standing there.
"Hi there Brian." One laughed. "Didn't expect to see us,
huh?"
"Wh-who are you?" Brian stuttered.
"That's the same question Dorough asked." Another snickered.
"We'll tell you as soon as we get were we are going."
Brian's mind raced. AJ was supposed to be next so he was unprepared for this.
Looking around frantically he spotted the 'panic' button by the exit door.
Without thinking he lunged for it.
The men proved to be quicker. One of them jumped forward and slammed Brian up
against the wall. Brian gasped in pain and furstration as his fingers fell
short of the button.
"Nice try Littrell." The man hissed bringing his face close to
Brian's.
He brought his knee up into Brian's stomach. Brian gasped and doubled over in
pain. He panted trying to regain some off the wind he had knocked out of him.
The man gave Brian another swift kick to the rib cage. He cried out in pain and
rolled over on to his back.
"You could at least put up as good a fight as Dorough did." The first
man spat in disgust.
Brian felt the hot tears sting his eyes. Did that mean they did kill Howie and
he was next. He didn't want to die yet. He was to young.
"Now say bye-bye Littrell." The man laughed as he aimed a swift kick
for Brian's head.
Brian saw his world spin and blur before the black ate his vision. He managed
to choke out a scream before everything disappeared.
