15
The guys all walked into teh confrence room of
the hotel and took the seats behind their nametags. Nick tooka deep breath as
he poured himself a glass of water. The room was filled was full of newspaper
reportors with notebooks, pens, and taperecoreders in hand. He looked to the
back of the room where Mel
and Leah were seated and smiled.
"alright if you all would quiet down now
we would like to begin" Kevin spoke up. Hands from the reporters shot up
as Kevin picked one.
"Why have you called this press conference today? Is there something wrong
with one of you?" The reporter asked as the guys looked at Nick.
"Actually, this for the starting of the 2nd leg of the black and blue
tour" Brian said as hands shot up again. Kevin picked another hand.
"When is the 2nd leg of thw tour gonna start?" The reporter asked.
"Were hopeing the beggining of June unless we would have to post pone it
for some reason" Howie said.
"Where will you be tourin?"
"In the states and hopefully europe" Kevin said.
*~!~* 30 minutes later *~!~*
The reporters finally got done asking about the 2nd leg of the tour when the
other guys looked at Nick.Kevin covered up his mic and leaned closer to nick.
"Are you just gonna sit there or tell them?" He asked as he uncovered
his mic.
"Hold your horses" Nick said quietly and cleared his throat.
"I have an announcement to make" Nick said as he looked at Mel in the
back of the room. The guys gave him a look to go on as Nick continued.
"My girlfriend and I are expecting a baby" Nick said as the reporters
hands shot up once again.
"Are you the biological father?" The reporter asked as Nick took a
breath.
"Yes I am" He said.
"How long have you and your girlfriend been dating?"
"We've been dating for 2 years " Nick said as he looked at Mel and
saw a confused look on her face.
"Are you planning on getting married?"
"We havent discused that yet" Nick said as he took a drink of his
water.
"Who's the mother?"
"Well, she been my best friend for practically my whole life and shes a
very beautiful girl who's sitting in the back of the room" Nick said
pointing to Mel and she began to blush as everyone turned around and looked at
her.
"Is the baby gonna affect the group?"
"No its not going to" Nick said as there manager came up onstage.
"No more questions. You can please exit through the doors behind you"
He said as the guys got up and made there way out into the hallway.
"Im gonna go now guys i told Mel I would meet her at the car" Nick
said as he walked out of the building and to the car where Mel was waiting for
him.
"Hello beautiful" Nick said as he kissed her cheek and Mel smiled at
him.
"You just love embarrasing me dont you?" Mel asked as Nick nodded and
he opened Mel's door for her. He closed it then got in on the other side. He
started up the car and they headed back towards the house.
