Chapter 13
I woke up to the feel of something rather
cold on my eyes, I sat up and two pickles fell in my lap, and suddenly I
realized Nick was gone…but he had decided to get me back after all. I walked into the hallway bathroom and
blinked 3 time’s before busting out in laughter, I washed my face off and
headed back to heaven, it was time to go back for awhile and let Nick do a
little on his own. And with that Brian
rose back to heaven in an instant.
Once again Nick and Casey stood at her
door. “So that was an awesome movie
Casey said, not sure of what else to say.”
“Yea, Nick agreed. So, umm I guess I should go he said.”
“Yea… Casey trailed off.”
Suddenly Nick leaned down and his soft lips
landed gently on hers. With that Nick
said good night and walked back to his car.
Casey opened the door, and squealed as if she
were a teenager again. Kissing him had
felt so right, like some how that was how things were suppose to be, and in
that instance her problems vanished until he pulled away and reality set in. I gotta call Lauren, she’s gonna freak. Casey picked up the phone, but quickly set it
back down, what was she thinking there was no way she could call her best
friend and tell her she’d just kissed Nick carter, he was her little secret,
for his sake…and hers. For some reason
she could no longer imagine living without him being associated with her some
way or another.
Nick sat in his car, just sitting there and
thinking. Kissing her had felt…good, to
be honest. For once in his life it felt
like he was kissing a girl who actually liked him, him as in the normal
Nick, not Nick Carter “The Backstreet boy”.
Nick finally started the car and popped in “Escape”, his favorite
Journey CD, and with that he drove home.
AN: I have NO idea if Escape is Nicks
fave. Journey CD or not but hey, if it works for the story it works for me!
