Chapter 15
“Casey, do you want me to drop you off at
your house, or you just wanna come over and hang out with me and Aaron?,” Nick
asked.
“Well I’ll come over for awhile if your sure
you don’t mind, I mean your brother did just get in,” she answered.
“Nah, its all good, you can play basketball
with me and Nicky,” Aaron contributed.
Nick blushed. “Don’t call me that Air.”
Aaron and Casey giggled. “Me and you against Nick, huh?,” Casey asked.
Aaron nodded his head eagerly. “Yea, we’ll
kick his as- er butt,” he said.
Nick rubbed the palm of his hand against his
forehead, “Watch your mouth AC.”
“Sorry,” the boy said, sounding not the least
bit sorry at all.
Once again Casey couldn’t help but giggle at
the two, obvious brothers.
Casey was glad she had worn her Nike’s
instead of stilettos or something.
Nick stood in front of her and Aaron off to
the side. “Alright, you and Airhead
against me,” Nick declared once again, what had already been stated.
“That’s right,” she said.
“Alright, lets play,” Aaron shouted.
And the game begun. Casey was kicking Nicks tail, and she beat
both boys when they had all played against each other.
Casey came over and sat next to Nick and
Aaron, who were both drinking bottles of water, a big grin on her face.
“Man, where did you learn to play like
that?,” Aaron suddenly asked.
“I was on the girls basket ball team all
through middle school and on the girls varsity basket ball team all through
high school, she exclaimed, but
ultimately I learned to play from my older cousin. He would always come over to my house and
play ,and eventually he taught me how to play too,” she explained taking a seat
next to the stunned brothers.
Nick pulled her by her hand, down onto his
lap, and hoping she wouldn’t mind that he was doing this in font of his
brother, he kissed her. To his surprise
her hands came up around his neck and she kissed him back.
Aaron cleared his throat, “Umm, gross! Get a room,” he said, standing up and walking
inside the house.
However Nick hadn’t expected Aaron to say
such a thing and was shocked, but Casey continued kissing him, pulling him back
to reality. When their lips finally
parted, he apologized.
“I’m so sorry about that, I didn’t think he’d
say something like that.”
She just smiled, “like I said, I have a
little brother, nothing he can do that I’m not use to she said. Now go take a shower your smelly she said
wrinkling her nose.”
He kissed her nose softly, but at her
request, got up and went inside to shower.
