“Thank you” she whispered lightly into
his chest as they danced slowly. Pulling her further into his arms he rested
his chin on her head, wincing when his chin caught one of the bobby pins in her
hair.
“For what baby girl?” he asked.
“Everything. I know that there was
more than one occasion when you wanted to kill me over the past year. I must
have been crazy to live with while planning this wedding.”
“Well that’s what honeymoons were
invented for. So wives could make it up to their husbands for all the crap they
put them trough in the planning.” She swatted his arm whilst giggling.
“Hey you better not turn into one of
these husbands whose all take, take, take, you know.”
“Oh I won’t. I more than promise to
give, give, give” he growled and she laughed. “Speaking of give I have
something special for you and I think it’s nearly ready,” He said as he kissed
her head.
“Ohh and what’s that Mr Carter?” She
asked as she gazed into his eyes.
“You will have to sit there Mrs Carter
and find out,” He said as he helped her to sit in the chair and walked to the
stage where the other guys from the band had gathered.
Darkness falls

and walked over to his new wife. Pulling her up from the chair he placed an arm
