Chapter 1
I woke up and saw 4 pairs of eyes
looking down on me.
"What happened?" I asked as
I sat up on the bed I was on.
"We needed to transport you here
so we could talk to you" Brian said as I nodded.
"Why do they want Lesley?" I
asked.
"They took the wrong person the first
time Nick" Kevin said as I looked at him confusingly.
"What do you mean, how could they
take the wrong person do we have something in us that tells if we have power or
something?" I asked sarcastically.
"Actually we do" AJ said as
I looked up and Kevin looked at me.
"Let me explain it a little
clearer. Remember 5 years ago when they kidnapped aaron?" Kevin asked.
"Of course how could I forget
that" I said.
"well let's just say they took
the wrong person, Aaron doesn't have the warrior gem, Lesley does" Kevin
said as my mouth dropped.
"But how?" I asked.
"We weren't exactly sure until we
heard Lesley had been kidnapped and looked up some stuff on your family, Your
mom was once on the royals side and she gave half the gem to Lesley while your
dad also gave her half of his" Kevin said as I let everything soak in.
"Do you know what they want to do
to her?" I asked as they all looked down.
"I don't think you should know
Nick" Howie said.
"She's my sister dammit. I want to know!" I said as Brian put his
hand on my shoulder.
"Calm down Nick" he said as
I layed back.
"They want to replace Katrina
with Lesley" Kevin said softly.
"What, why?"
"The royal's need a Queen with a
cold heart like King Yukon had and Katrina has a warm heart" Kevin said.
"But so does Lesley" I
added.
"Yes, but it would be much easier
to turn Lesley over because she has half the bad side of the gem, when Katrina
has no gem at all since her mother was a mortal" Kevin said as my mouth
dropped.
"We need to go now!" I said
as I started to stand up but Kevin pushed me back down.
"We can't save Lesley until after
they transform her into the queen" Kevin said.
"Why!" I asked.
"Because if any one with a good
gem goes near the transformation center they will put themselves and Lesley at
risk." Kevin said.
"then what do we do now?" I
asked.
"We go and see if we could find
BJ in this time of the world" Kevin said.
"Why BJ, what does she have
anything to do with this?" I asked.
"In this time of the world BJ is
really Katrina, so you, Lesley and BJ are not even related. Maybe she could
help us get to Lesley before they transform her" Kevin said. This was
really one messed up thing I thought as Kevin got up.
"Get your rest your going to need
it" Kevin said as he and the guys walked out of the room and into the
cockpit.
