Chapter 3
We walked up to the doors of the gunnery as
Kevin punched in his code. The doors opened slowly as we all walked in. As we
walked down a hallway I felt someone grab me by the neck and pick me up off the
floor.
"It's looks like we have a stoleway"
The guard said as he tightened his grip on my neck and my breathing became
rapid. I saw Kevin turn around.
"J, put him down he's with us" Kevin
said as the guard put me down, my breathing went back to normal. All of a sudden alarms went off.
"Royal attack everyone brace
yourself" J yelled as everyone hid in the dark. Kevin threw me a gun as I
hid. I heard a pounding sound on the door as there was a loud bang, meaning the
royals broke the door down. My body filled with adrenaline, wanting to beat
there butts for hurting Aaron. I saw a royal walk pass me as I shot at him. He
made a thump as he fell to the floor. I saw the other royals stop in there
tracks as they saw me. I started to run for my life, I didn't want to get
caught by them, I had to go save Aaron. Laser gun shots went off behind me as I
ran as fast as I could, only to see more royals coming down the other side of
the hall. I was trapped, I had failed Aaron, the guys, and myself. One of the
royals grabbed me as he hit me in the head with his gun, I felt blood drip down
my head as the royal guard drug me back to ship. I didn't fight back knowing I
wouldn't get away and just get hurt more then I was.
Aaron’s POV
I woke up as my master had picked me up by my
slave uniform collar and dragged me out of my cell. I didn't know what was
going on, why would they need me? We came to the main lobby where I saw King
Yukon sitting in his throne. My master had thrown me down on the ground
at the kings feet. I bowed down knowing if I didn't I would get hurt. I saw
another royal guard enter the room with Nick.
"Nick!" I yelled as I got up and
started to run to him but pulled back by the chain around my neck that the king
was holding onto. Nick's head bolted up as he heard my fearful call for him.
The guard threw Nick on the ground like I was and put electric cuffs around his
hands.
"What do you want with me and my Brother
Yukon"! Nick yelled.
"What do I want?, I want you dead of
course, so you or your brother will be the last piece to putting us into the
gem again" King Yukon said. I was confused, what gem?
"Or you two do have another choice, you
can become royals and fight against your friends, in the battle there going to
die in" King Yukon said as he laughed evily. I saw Nick stare a stare I
have never seen out of him before.
"I've rather be dead, then fight for
you"! Nick yelled as King Yukon pulled on my chain, I tried to resist
going over to him but he just pulled harder and I felt my feet fall under me as
I dragged over to him.
"But now you wouldn't want Aaron to get
hurt now would you?" King Yukon said as he took my face in his hands and
pointed it to Nick. Nick didn't answer.
"You have one hour to choose what you
want" king Yukon said as my master took me away. I saw the guard with Nick
go another way. My master threw me back into my cell, alone again in darkness.
