Chapter 6
As I looked in the first cell I couldn't what
I saw. Aaron's body was in the corner of the cell, his small body in a ball
with dry blood all over his face and arms.
"Brian, Aaron's in here" I said as
Brian came over to the cell I was standing at. He took out his small tool set
and started working on opening the door. The door flung open as I ran to Aaron
and picked him up in my arms. I whipped his blond hair out of his face as he
stirred in my arms and opened his eyes.
"Nick" his voice weak.
"Hey AC" I said as brian and I
walked down a long hallway and into a medical room.
"Who's he?" Aaron asked as he looked
at Brian.
"he's a friend of mine he's going to help
us get back home" I said as I layed Aaron down on the bed so Brian could
look him over. I saw Brian take out a washcloth and a bottle of alcohol out of
the cabinet. He put a little bit of alcohol onto the cloth and looked down at
Aaron.
"This may sting a little" Brian said
as Aaron nodded his head in understanding, wincing as the wash cloth burned
into his open wounds. I was startled by the sound of someone coming in on my
walkie-talkie.
"Get your butts down here now Royal
attack!" I heard AJ say as Brian looked at me.
"We better go now" Brian said as he
finished cleaning Aaron's wounds quickly. I picked up Aaron as we got our guns
ready.
"Position?" I said into my
walkie-talkie.
"26 n 82 w" Howie answered. Brian
took out his computerized map of the ship as he typed in there location.
"This way" He said as we quickly
ran. Up ahead I saw Kevin, Howie and AJ running towards us.
"RUN!!" Kevin shouted as brian and I
ran. I looked back and saw Royal guards running after us with laser guns in
there hands. We ran and ran until finally we came to a dead end like in my
dream. We watched as the royals came closer and closer.
"Save your selves!" Kevin said as he
ran towards the Royals and started to attack them. I looked at him as Brian,
howie and AJ pulled me away. I stopped and put Aaron in Brian's arms.
"Go to the spacecraft and if Kevin and I
aren't on in a matter of 15 minutes take off without us" I said as I ran
to help Kevin, pulling my knife out of the pocket in my pant leg as I ran. A
royal came running towards me and I stuck my knife into his stomach. I pulled
my gun out of my belt as another rans toward me and shot him. I ran up to Kevin
and picked him up putting his arm around my neck as I helped him run. I looked
back and saw another royal coming after us. I took a knife from Kevin's jacket
pocket and threw it at the royals head watching him fall to the ground. We
started to walk quickly again as we came to the entrance. I stopped dead in my
tracks as I saw King Yukon come out from behind the entrance door and it shut
behind him.
"So Nick you thought you could win,
didn't you?" He said as I glared at him, I put Kevin down against the
wall.
"Maybe I did but ever since I saw the
look of you I knew you wouldn't win" I said.
"Really I thought the same when I saw how
much of an idiot your father was, your just like him Nick, afraid of what might
come next, afraid to fight me" He said as I took my light saver out and so
did he.
"You've got the wrong impression of me
Yukon" I said as he moved closer to me.
"Really lets see what you got" he
said as he swung his light saver and I did a back flip off the wall kicking him
down to the ground.
"Is that all you have?" He said as
he laughed and I charged toward him. He tripped me and I fell to the ground
immediately getting back to my feet. I swung my light saver at him again as he
blocked me. He did a back flip back wards as I caught him off guard as I stuck
my light saver through his chest. He fell to the ground, trying to breath for
air but couldn't. I stuck my light saver into my jacket and picked Kevin up as
we walked quickly out of the entrance door and I saw the spacecraft almost to
take off. I started to run with Kevin as quickly as possible to the spacecraft.
We ran through the doors as they closed. I put Kevin down on his bunk.
"Nick!!" Aaron said as he hugged me
and I picked him up.
"I missed you so much AC" I said as
hugged him tighter.
"I missed you too Nick" Aaron said
as I heard Brian announce that we were going to take off.
"Hold on Kev" I said as I strapped
him into his bunk.
"Thanks Nick" he said as he smiled.
"Welcome kev" I said as I walked
back to where Aaron and I were going to sit. I sat down and buckled
myself in as I felt the spacecraft lift up off the ground and go into hyper
speed. A little while later I looked at Aaron who was peacefully sleeping in my
lap and I looked at the other guys. I saw the room start to spin as I started
to feel light headed. I felt the vibration's of the spacecraft go through my
head, making it hurt. I felt my mouth move but heard no sound coming from it. I
must have screamed out in pain as I saw the others walking up to me. There lips
moved but I heard no sound as my would turned to darkness.
