Damn these old wheels
Rolling too slow
I stare down this white line
With so far to go
My dear love,
It's been two years since I saw your beautiful face filled with happiness. It's
been so long since I felt the love coming from your heart that I almost forget
how it feels. Each day seems to be going so slow as my love for you continues
to grow stronger. I stare out at the battlefield, we still have a long fight
before we beat the Japenesse but it will soon end and
then I can return to you and feel the love you have for me once again.
Head lights keep coming
Loneliness humming along
Who poured this rain?
Who made these clouds?
I stare through this windshield
Thinking out loud
Time keeps on crawling
Love keeps on calling me home
My heart sometimes fills with
loneliness not having you to hold. My heart keeps yearning for you and the love
we have shared. It keeps calling me home to you, just to see you for a second
to return your love back to my heart. Each day when I look up at the sun I
could see your face and the smile I love.

Beside you as you dream

The love we have keeps me going during
battles. Just thinking of you keeps me alive. If I could I would send you all
my love in a letter to remind you that I still have the same feelings of us
before I left. As I dream I could feel you next to me and smell the scent of
your ahir fill the air.

You do what you have to to get what you need
Feeling you near me with so many miles in between
Lord, it aint easy out here in the dark
To keep us together so far apart
I could still remember when we first
met, our love from hat point in time was so strong and becoming stronger. So
many miles from you I could still feel your love drifting around me with the
air. You stuck with me these years while I was gone. Isnt
it a blessing how god didnt let us drift apart? But maybe
his blessing was right when I proposed to your before I left. I could still see
the sparkle of happiness in your eyes mixed with the tears of love that had
threatened to fall.

She let the letter fall onto the gravestone and felt the tears fall down her
cheeks. He was gone for good now. Her love, her husband, the one that always
kept her going. She looked at the gravestone as she took the ring that he had
placed once on her finger off. She looked at it one last time before throwing
it on the gravestone beside the letters. She turned and walked away, not
wanting to remember him or the love he had given her.
