The rest of the tour lasted about a month. It went very well, and the
fans were very glad to see Brian back on his feet and looking healthy again. He
finally looked normal again, since his hair had grown back.
After the tour was over, the guys all took time off for vacations.
Leighanne had several photo shoots and meetings in Europe, so Brian went with
her, and they spent a few weeks there together. After that, they returned to
Orlando and started working on their wedding plans again. Their wedding was supposed
to have been in September, but they had put it off because of everything that
had been going on. Now they finally had time off, and Brian was feeling great,
so they decided to start planning again. They planned to hold it in June,
making sure they would have plenty of time to get things ready, since the Boys
had their European tour at the beginning of the year.

February approached, as did Brian's doctors appointment. Leighanne had
an audition in LA to go to, so Nick went with Brian. They hadn't been spending
a lot of time together since the tour ended, so Brian was glad to have his best
friend with him.
This time, Brian had to have all the tests run, including the bone
marrow one. He made sure he didn't let Nick in with him for that one. Nick was
relieved because he although he wanted to be there for his friend, he didn't
know if he could handle watching that monstrous needle being shoved into
Brian's back.
After everything was done, they followed the nurse down to Dr. Benson's
office, just like they had so many times before. Brian was apprehensive as
always. He had been feeling fine, but he was always afraid something was going
to be wrong.
However, when they entered the office, Dr. Benson was smiling.
"It's looking fine, Brian," he said. "The tumor is still
dormant, and you are still in remission." Nick reached over and threw his
arm around Brian. Brian was once again extremely relieved. He had had two good
check-ups in a row. He was sure that his bout with cancer was over.
