Chapter 6

By Melissa

3 months later

Charisma stared at the pictures that filled her walls. They were mostly BSB but a majority were pictures of Brian.  She felt like she had grown closer to him since she felt his pain most of the time.  She never knew why she did.  Maybe there was some connection or bond between them, but she really doubted it.  She lay back on her bed and closed her eyes.

She watched as the room started to fill with reporters with their tape recorders or note pads in their hands ready to get all the good gossip. They finally stopped filling the room and the door closed. A few minutes later five guys came out of the room, and she noticed it was the five that she had admired for a long time since the first dream. She spotted Brian who seemed a bit pale but no one seemed to notice. They sat down at the table with nametags and water bottles on it. The hands flew up as soon as they got comfortable and the chunky man, who she learned was Lou Pearlman, picked one of them. The woman stood up and held out her tape recorder.

"Mr. Littrell what’s the news you've been waiting to tell us? Is it finally marriage?" the woman asked as Brian looked at her.

"Actually, it's not marriage. About a few month sago,  I discovered the hole in my heart had grown larger instead of shrunken," Brian said as more hands were shot up like bullets.  Lou picked another reporter as he stood up.

"Is it serious?" he asked.

"It would become serious if I didn’t have a surgery scheduled," Brian said as the reporter sat down.

"A surgery?" the next reporter asked.

"Yes, I had to schedule a surgery, which will be during the tour," Brian said.

"When will it be?" another reporter asked.

"May eighth," Brian said as Lou walked out in front of the table.

"I’m sorry, but the guys have to get to their next performance now," he said as the reporters watched the guys walk out of the room, and Charisma's dream started to fade to black.
