Chapter

Outside, Brian
and Katelyn ran down the front walk as they were showered with bird seed. A
beautiful, white horse-drawn carriage was waiting for them. The driver held
open the door and helped Katelyn in first, then Brian. Then they started off
towards the fancy hotel where the reception was going to be held.
As they
listened to the click-clack of the horses' hooves on the road, Brian and
Katelyn held and hands and just smiled at each other. Words could not express
what they were feeling.
Soon, they
arrived at the hotel. The hotel had already set up extra security. Although,
Brian had not released the date or location of the wedding, he knew that some
fans might have figured it out, especially the ones that lived nearby.

The reception
was wonderful. The food was delicious. There was a dance floor and a DJ. At one
point, "The One" played. Brian and Katelyn smiled at each other,
remembering that night at the concert, when Brian had sang that song to Katelyn,
the night they had met.
After
"The One" was over, a few more songs played. Then the DJ stopped the
music and announced, "It's time for the bride and groom to have a private
dance. Would everyone please clear the dance floor?" Couples slowly moved off
the dance floor, and Brian took Katelyn's hand and led her out to the middle.
Suddenly, the music for "My Heart Will Go On" began to play. Katelyn
looked up and smiled. Brian winked.
"Remember
our first kiss?" he asked, as they began to sway with the music.
Katelyn nodded
and snuggled closer to him. She rested her head on his shoulder as they slowly
danced.
Towards the end of the song, Katelyn felt the
lyrics described what she was feeling exactly.
You're here, there's nothing I fear,
And I know that my heart will go on.
We'll stay forever this way.
You are safe in my heart,
And my heart will go on and on.
The song ended, and Katelyn slowly drifted out of
Brian's arms, as all the guests clapped.
"How
about we go outside and get some fresh air," Katelyn suggested.
"Sure,"
Brian replied. He took her hand, and they walked past the other guests and out
to the lobby of the hotel. From there, they hurried outside and wandered around
the outside of the hotel. They stopped in a shadowy spot on one side of the
hotel. No one else was around, so it was unlikely they would be recognized.
