Chapter

After Jennie
walked away, another girl approached him. It was the cute blonde girl.
"Hi
there!" he said, grinning at her. The girl smiled shyly at him.
"Hi,
Brian," she said. She handed him her Millennium CD. Brian noticed her
hands shaking.
"Hey,
don't be nervous," he said, laying his hand on top of hers. Her green eyes
widened in surprise. "I won't bite," he joked, flashing her one of
his charming smiles. She returned his smile and appeared to relax a bit.
"I'm
sorry," she said. "I just can't believe I'm standing right here in
front of you!"
He grinned and
blushed. "So, what's your name?" he asked her.
"Katelyn,"
she replied. "Katelyn Mitchell."
"Katelyn.
That's a pretty name. How do you spell that?" he asked.
"K-A-T-E-L-Y-N,"
she replied.
"Cool,"
he replied, writing her a message on her Millennium CD. "So, where are you
from?"
"Cincinnati,"
she replied.
"How did
you get backstage passes?" he asked.
"I won a
radio contest," she replied.
"That's
cool," he said. He noticed another girl waiting behind Katelyn for him to
sign her poster. "Well, I'd love to sit here and chat, but I'll cause a
traffic jam," he said, smiling.
"Thank
you," Katelyn said, grinning widely at him. She took her CD and headed
over to where Jennie was standing, glancing back at him over her shoulder. He
winked at her, and turned to the next girl in line.
