"Hey
guys, I need to talk to you about something," said Mike Watson, one of the
Backstreet Boys' managers, popping his head into AJ's hotel room, where the
Boys were, eating pizza.
"Sure,
come on in, Mike," Kevin said. Mike came on and sat down in one of the
chairs.
"We got a
request from the Make a Wish Foundation for you guys to meet a little
girl," Mike said.
"When?"
Howie asked.
"Well,
the girl lives in Marietta, Georgia, which is close to Atlanta. You guys will
be in Atlanta for two days next week for one of your last concerts on the tour.
You could visit her the first day and invite her to your concert the next night
if she's able to go."
"Sure,
that would be great," Brian said. "What's her name?"
"Her name
is Morgan Ashmore, and she's seven."
"What's
wrong with her?" Nick asked.
"She has
a heart condition," Mike said. He saw Brian's look of sympathy for the
little girl.
"Well, I
think that would work out fine," Brian said. "Call the Foundation and
set up a time."
"Okay,
I'll do that. Thanks, guys," Mike said, leaving the room.
