Chapter 3

A limo arrived at the hotel for the guys at ten after one. It took about forty-five minutes to get from Atlanta to Morgan's house. The guys got into the limo quickly, hoping not to be noticed by any fans. They had two bodyguards going with them, just in case.

After forty-five minutes of driving, the limo pulled into a driveway. Brian looked out the window at the house. It was white and had navy blue shutters. It was small, only one story, but it was cozy looking and well kept up. The lawn was mowed and there was nice landscaping in the front. The Boys piled out and cautiously looked around, watching for any mobs of fans. Luckily, the neighborhood was small and quiet. Barely anyone was outside.

The five guys walked up the walkway to the front porch. Brian was first. He started to ring the doorbell when the door flew open. A man that looked to be in his early thirties stood there. He grinned widely at the five men on the porch and extended his hand.

"Hi, I'm Dave Ashmore," he said.

"I'm Brian Littrell," said Brian, shaking his hand.

"And I'm AJ McLean," said AJ, doing the same. The other three also introduced themselves and shook Dave's hand.

"Please come in," Dave said, standing back so they could enter the house. A woman stood in the living room, her smile lighting up her face. She stepped forward.

"Hi, I'm Lisa," she said warmly. Once again, they all introduced themselves.

"Where is Morgan?" Brian asked.

"She's upstairs in her room," Dave said. "This is all going to be a big surprise for her. She doesn't know about any of this. We didn't want to tell her just in case you guys couldn't make it. We didn't want to get her hopes up for nothing, so we kept it a secret."

Brian smiled. "That will make it even better then," he said. "Should we go back to her room, or do you want to call her out here?"

"I'll call her out here," Dave said. "Lisa, grab the camera." Brian felt a wave of sadness wash over him as he watched Lisa get the camera out. The pictures that were going to be taken could be a few of the last ones Dave and Lisa ever got of their daughter if she was dying. It made Brian feel good to be about to make a little girl's dream come true.
