Chapter 24
It was a new year and even though everything felt good. She
felt worried, deep down inside she felt worried. She was in bliss, with all the
things going on in her world. It seemed to good to be true and she knew it. She
opened the mailbox to retrieve the mail in it, when she felt like she was being
watched. She looked around her but did not see anything or anyone, so she just
shook away the feeling and walked into her apartment. She saw the time on the
watch and knew Amber would be home soon from school. So she knew Alex would be
coming too. When she heard a knock on the door, thinking it was Amber and Alex
she opened the door. To her surprise it was a tall man dressed as an
electrician, “Hi, can I help you?”
“Hi, ma’am I am here to check the power outlets in your
apartment. The apartments manager asked me to come check everyone’s outlets do
to some complaints they have received from the renters in this complex. May I
come in?”
“Really? My outlets work fine but sure come in and check.”
“Thank you, ma’am I am only going to check them real quick,
I do need to check every room with more than one outlet though.”
“Sure, go right ahead if you need me I will be in the
kitchen, right over there ok.”
He watched her go into the kitchen and as soon as the coast
was clear he took out the micro-mini cameras and started installing them in the
rooms. This was to easy for him, if his boss wanted to he could wipe her out
right now of course it was his bosses call so he quickly finished his mission
and walked to the kitchen. “Ma’am I am done everything looks good, I think it
might just be a glitch in the other apartment only. Could I have you sign this
to show the property manager I did check your outlets.” He handed her the clip
board with the fake form he had done himself.
“Oh, sure but don’t you have to check the kitchen ones
too?”
“Well I could, but just by checking the other rooms
everything looks good. So there is no need to, if you could just sign here.”
“Oh, ok. Well thank you.”

He had just gotten the news about the cameras being
installed. So he slowly turned on the monitor connected to them so he test the
cameras out. “Perfect, just perfect everything is so clear. Now she can’t
surprise me again like she did with the engagement.” Now all he needed was Rick
to get on his side. He was dating that bastard, if only he could find a way to
convince Rick to help him out. He just wanted revenge that’s all he wanted; he
deserved it after all he went through after Pamela had left.
