Chapter

I walked into the
hotel room and about fell over dead. They weren't there! I was
like great the Backstreet Boys stood me up what else is new. I get enough
of this at home and now this happens. I wanted to cry right then and there.
I wasn't as nervous as I was in the elevator. I was more mad than
anything. Denise walked over to the tv and found a note.
"They are down eating lunch sweetie. They will be back in 15
minutes. Are you hungry?" She asked.
"Yeah I guess I am a little bit." I said looking around the
hotel room. WOW this place is huge. We walked down to the lobby and
eating area. I looked around and thought this place was like a mansion.
It was huge.
"Earth to Melissa come in please." Some one said. I turned
around and Denise was looking at me funny like I had seen a ghost or something.
"Hmmmmmm yeah I am here. I am just amazed at how big this hotel is.
I have never seen something so big." I said outloud and
mubling something to myself.
"Are you here or are you in dream land there hun?"
"Yeah I just can't get over how big this hotel is." I said
turning around a little too fast and then a wave of dizziness hit me hard.
"Hey sweetie, are you alright?" Denise said grabbing me before
I fell over.
"Yeah I just turned around too fast." I said regaining my
compure and we walked down to the restaurant and I about die when I first saw
them. I couldn't believe my dream was finally coming true.
"Hey Guys! This is Melissa. Shes here with Make-A-Wish
Foundation. Remember I told you guys about this." Denise said.
They all looked at me like I had some dreadful contagious diease.
"Hello Melissa!" They all said in unison. I was still in
shock that I was hear standing right in front of them and meeting them.
This dream was finally coming true and I hoped and prayed at the
point nothing bad would go wrong.
Three Hours Later
I was sitting up
in my hotel room and just looking around at everything. It seemed that
for a week or so that I would be away from my family and live out my dream that
never seemed to me would ever come true, but it did. I called home and
Dawn wasn't home which sucked, but my brother and mom were there and happy for
me. I sat in my hotel room waiting for Denise to come by and get me to
take me to the arena or something. I changed and got into the new outfit
that Josh and I went shopping for. Its a pink tank top that has like all
these lil sparkles on it and jeans. By the time I got done there was a
knock at the door.
"Just a minute." I said standing up and putting my shoes on and
walking over to the door.
"Hey! Are you ready to go?" Denise asked.
"Yeah let me grab my stuff and do my hair really fast." I said
running back over to get my purse and putting my hair into a messy bun.
We walked out of the hotel and was on our way. I had no idea
what and where we were going and so I was excited and nervous all at the same
time. We arrived at the arena and I was thinking ok, what is going on here.
We were at a stop light and something started to happen and I didn't know
what was going on. It was scarying me and it was something that I had
never experienced before.
