Chapter 4
Nick's POV
They dragged me back onto the
spacecraft as I struggled to get away. The doors opened and closed as we all
entered.
"Why aren't we going to help
her!" I yelled as Kevin looked at me.
"There's no way we could help her
she has to fight Lesley by herself" Kevin said as I looked at him.
"Why! She's going to need
help" I said as Kevin walked into the cockpit and I followed him.
"BJ's the only one who can stop
Lesley because Lesley will remember her more then you" Kevin said as tears
came to my eyes.
"what do you mean by that?"
I asked my voice low.
"You were always on tour when
Lesley needed your help and she turned to BJ hopefully Lesley will remember
that and the love from BJ will transform her back" Kevin said as I held
onto the seat when the spacecraft started to move again.
"But… but I love Lesley and she's my
little sister!" I started to say as Kevin cut me off.
"But then again you never showed
it" Kevin said as I sat down in the co-pilot chair. He was right, I never
did show it to her. I got up and walked out of the cockpit and too my bunk. I
stared up at the ceiling as I thought of when I saw her in the cell and she
didn't recognize my voice that had to be why. If I didn't love her in the past
of course she wasn't going to remember me in the future then. I fell into an
uneasy sleep as I saw BJ sitting in a dark corner of a cell. I concentrated and
saw she was crying. I felt the ship start to shake as I woke up.
"Nick get into your seat and get your
seatbelt on now!!" Howie yelled as I ran into the cockpit to try to help
Kevin. I sat down in the co-pilots chair again as Kevin looked at me.
"Nick what are you doin!!"
Kevin yelled as I saw the spacecraft being sucked into a black hole.
"I want to help you!" I said
as I looked at the controls. We got closer and closer to the black hole every
second. I put my finger over a little red button.
"What are you doing?" Kevin
asked as he pushed the control stick up and down trying to regain the control
of the spacecraft for as long as he could.
"I don't kno but hopefully it
will work" I said as I pushed the button and nothing happened. A second
later everything froze except for everybody in the spacecraft and itself.
"Go now before everything
unfreezes" I said as Kevin moved the control stick up and we quickly
blasted out of the black hole's grip. I got up as I felt a pain run through my
back as I fell to the ground.
"Nick you OK?" Kevin asked
looking at me concerned.
"yeah I'm fine" I said as I
hid the pain and got up, " I… we need to go back and help BJ please Kevin
Lesley's my sister too" I said as another shot of pain ran through my side
and I gritted my teeth holding back my pain.
"OK, I'll turn the spacecraft
around so we could head back towards the palace" He said as I sat back
down and drove off towards the palace.
