Prologue 5 years later
I watched her from afar. I didn't even
know who this girl was, for I could only see the back of her. I looked at my
surroundings. Where was I? Now what were my dreams trying to tell me?
"Hello" I said not hearing
my words but hoping to get the girls attention. I saw the girl start to look
around. I caught a glimpse of her face but it couldn't be her right? I thought
everything was over.
"Lesley?" I asked as the
girl spun around, fear in her eyes.
"Who are you?" Lesley asked
her voice filled with fear and was barley above a whisper.
"it's Nick" I said as a
confusing look came upon her face. I looked around at my surroundings again,
they looked so familiar to me, like I had been here before. The door opened as
I saw my once enemy's, the royal guards, enter the room. They came towards
Lesley as she backed away from them. They grabbed her arms and drugged her out
of the room. Her screams disappeared as I heard my own name being called off in
a distance. The calling became louder as I felt hands on my shoulders shaking
me violently. I woke up looking into a pair of blue eyes identical to mine.
"B.J. what's wrong?" I asked
as I saw tears fill in her eyes.
"Lesley's missing" She said
as my eyes widen in fear.
"What!!" I yelled as I sat
up in bed, this couldn't be happening why would the royal's want Lesley and I
thought we put them back in the gem? I felt my head start to pound as I layed
back down. I put my hand over my ears trying to stop Lesley's screaming from
filling into my head. I saw B.J.'s mouth move in slow motion what was she
trying to say? The vibration of Lesley's screams went through my head as my
world went black.
