Chapter 3

"You look beautiful," Brian said, gazing lovingly at Alexa, once they were at the restaurant. She smiled and blushed.

"I love you," she told him.

"I love you too," he said, taking her hand under the table. She felt a wave of sadness wash through her as she thought about how she was going to live without Brian the next few months.

"You know, Brian," she said, "I'm really gonna miss you when you go on tour."

"I know," he said. "I wanted to talk about that with you tonight."

"What about it?"

"Well, I was wondering if you wanted to come with me," he said. She gasped with delight.

"Really? You mean it?"

"Sure," he said. "I don't think I could make it through the whole tour without seeing you."

"My thoughts exactly," she said with a smile.

"So, do you want to?"

"Oh, of course I do!" she said, excitedly.

"All right. It's settled then. We spend the first leg of the tour together, you and me. After that, I'll stay in Lexington during vacation so I can see you." He squeezed her hand. She smiled.

"The other guys won't mind, will they?" she asked.

"No way," he said. "They've brought girlfriends and family with them before on tour."

She smiled again. "I love you so much, Brian."

"I love you even more," he replied, lovingly.
