Over the next few months, as the baby grew, so did Alexa. Her stomach
grew big and round. She had check-ups once a month to make sure everything was
okay. Dr. Randall told her everything was perfect every time. One visit, he
asked her if she wanted to know whether it was a boy or girl. Alexa was
curious, but she said she wanted it to be a surprise.
Meanwhile, she had morning sickness almost every morning, and she had
strange food cravings, which Brian always faithfully tried to fulfill. Brian
was the best husband a woman could have. He was always there for Alexa, and he
would do anything for her.
The Backstreet Boys new album had been released in late October, and so
for awhile after that, Brian was always busy. But as the Bsb fever slowly faded
away, he made time to spend with Alexa. When the Boys began to tour, Alexa came
with them. The tour started in Europe. Then, they had the U.S. tour, which was
in two legs, like on the Millennium tour. Alexa toured until the second leg of
the U.S. tour. By then, she was too far along to do much traveling. She went
back to Orlando and lay around the house most of the day, just waiting as the
baby's due date came closer and closer.
